Who runs this site
This site is run by Artha Capital, Haarlemmerweg 888, 1014 BL Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) as 97349860. Artha Capital decides what is measured here and is the controller for that data. Questions go to privacy@acnesupplements.org.
What we measure
- Page statistics: the page you open, the page or search that led you here, time on the page, scroll depth, the buttons and links you use, and basic browser and device facts such as screen size, language and time zone.
- The evidence table filter: your choice there only changes what you see. It is not sent or saved.
- Hosting logs: your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider keeps these to protect and run the site.
How the statistics work
Your browser sends page statistics to our own address, /api/b. From there they go to an analytics provider (EU) that stores them in the European Union. We pass on your IP address so the provider can estimate your country and city. A random number in the tab's session storage ties the pages of one visit together; it disappears when you close the tab, so a later visit starts fresh. No cookies are used for this. Visitors from the EU are only counted after they choose "Allow" in the notice on the page.
Where the analysis button goes
"Start my analysis" and similar buttons lead through acnesupplements.org/results to acne.today, a separate paid service. The link tells acne.today that you came from this site and which button you pressed. Anything you do on acne.today, such as uploading a photo or paying, is covered by acne.today's own privacy policy, not this one.
Our legal grounds
- Statistics for EU visitors: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with "Statistics choice" at the bottom of the home page.
- Statistics for visitors outside the EU, and security logs: our legitimate interest in a safe site that we can improve.
- Emails you send us: handling your request.
What stays in your browser

How long we keep things
Hosting logs are kept for up to 90 days. Emails are kept as long as we need them to answer you, and no longer than two years.
Who else sees data
Only the analytics provider and our hosting provider, and only what they need to do their job. We do not sell data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, ask us to limit its use, or object to it. Write to privacy@acnesupplements.org and we will answer within four weeks. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to the authority in your own country.
Updates
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
